Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 September 2026
1. Controller
This policy describes how Kurono Computing handles information in PictBatch.
2. Information we handle
The App has no user accounts. Photos you edit are processed on-device and in temporary files. We do not offer a feature that uploads edited images to our servers for storage. Non-sensitive settings (theme, language, review flags) stay on the device.
3. AI background removal
AI background removal runs an ONNX model on your device. We do not send your photos to our servers or to third-party cloud AI services for this feature. No network connection is required to run it. Results are stored in temporary files on the device and are cleaned up when the edit session ends. We do not collect your images to train or improve the model.
4. Permissions
The App requests OS permissions needed for photos, files, export, and (on iOS) tracking. If you deny a permission, the related feature will not work.
5. Analytics, crashes, and Remote Config
We may use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for events (such as image selection and export outcome) and crash reports. We may also fetch non-secret parameters such as update prompts and store URLs from Firebase Remote Config. We do not use this to identify you as a person.
6. Ads and ATT
Mobile ads may involve advertising identifiers shared with ad networks. On iOS we may request tracking permission under App Tracking Transparency.
7. Recipients
Data may be processed by providers such as Google for analytics, ads, crash reporting, and remote configuration, or where required by law.
8. Retention
On-device settings may remain until you uninstall the App. Analytics and crash data follow each service’s retention rules.
9. Contact
Questions about privacy: use the Support page on this site or in-app support.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the date and text on this page.
